Where do I get it?
I’ve been linking the heck out of it but it should be said that currently ASMart is the only place you can buy Zedd right now.
Buying from ASMart is actually pretty straight forward and you don’t really need to know any Japanese to do so as the checkout is in English.
You will however need a Tenso account to get it shipped to you. Tenso is also available in English so you are well covered.
You will need to provide ASMart with your Tenso membership number and payment for the DVD – they accept Paypal and Credit Card. Then they will send your DVD to Tenso and Tenso will invoice you to ship it to you. They also accept Paypal and Credit Card.
The shipping for just the Zedd DVD alone was ¥1,690 for me.
If you order something else as well it may be larger. The largest box I have got through Tenso so far cost me ¥2,350 for shipping.
While you are there you should totally buy the With U Live DVD because it is seven levels of awesome.
It’s not cheap, is it worth it?
As a fan, yes.
If you’re not a huge fan then things worth noting are:
It is a short movie – just under an hour long.
and there is nothing else on the DVD..
There is however a beautiful photo inside that is random so could be either the group or one of the members.
Is it subbed?
Yes. It has English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese subtitles.
Well, yeah it ends super cheesy, lol. But you’ve seen the worst of it already in the trailer. It doesn’t get worse than that. I honestly had no issue with this but I’m gonna note it here because …
It lacks some important backgrounding in the movie so you might be confused at first. Definitely pays to read a translated synopsis beforehand.
The other actors are ..um. Not great. But there isn’t too much of them.
Cross Gene themselves did incredible. I cannot fault them or their characters.
In fact, their characters are the absolute high point of this movie. Insanely likeable and the obvious focus during the writing. They appear to be personalised because you can see the members in the characters themselves – with the exception of Seyoung who is clearly a much bigger child than Zero. But you can see Shin’s personality in Nine, Sangmin’s in Thirteen, etc.
Honestly though I was barely a minute into the movie and saying to myself “Yeah, Thirteen is definitely going to be my favourite” but by the end there was really no way to have a favourite. Sounds familiar…
These are awesome characters and when the movie was ending the worst part was realising I was going to miss them and their moments. And I had only known them for an hour…
Cross Gene’s acting was on point, their delivery was great, they are the whole point of this movie and they didn’t disappoint at all.
Also – there appears to be nothing in this world that can stop Takuya from looking utterly gorgeous. #justsayin
Can you upload it for me?
I am sure it will make it online eventually. I won’t be uploading it though.
